Night 1: Hanoi – Cao Bang City
7:30 PM – 8:00 PM: Customers book a Grab car to go to our meeting point at My Dinh Bus Station. Our driver will come out and pick you up inside the waiting area.
9:00 PM – 9:30 PM: Check in to our VIP sleeper bus to go to Cao Bang City.
Next Morning 5:00 AM – 5:30 AM: Meet our driver who will take you to Ban Gioc Waterfall.
Next Morning 8:00 AM – 8:30 AM: Receive a warm welcome from our enthusiastic tour guide at your homestay in Khuoi Ki Stone Village, Ban Gioc Waterfall.
Day 1: Trekking Tour – Ngao Cave – Tribal Village – Forest – Stream
8:30 AM – 9:00 AM: Have breakfast at our homestay. Enjoy specialty foods such as Cao Bang Rice Paper or Duck Noodle Soup, prepared by our tour guide.
9:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Visit Ngao Cave (Tiger Cave), considered one of the caves that still retains its pristine beauty. Natural stone columns formed over hundreds of millions of years and stalactites showcase thousands of different beautiful shapes created and sculpted by Mother Nature, such as a tiger statue, lotus flower image, boat image, cactus image, jellyfish image, magic stick, etc.
10:30 AM – 11:30 AM: Trek to Bong Son Village, a Tay ethnic village where you can see many ancient stone houses built over 30 years ago.
11:30 AM – 1:00 PM: Continue on the most unique and beautiful route. The beauty of terraced rice fields, forests, and streams will immerse you in nature. All your life's stresses will undoubtedly disappear.
1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Have lunch with a local family where you can learn about the Tay ethnic people's culture, customs, and daily life, and enjoy the specialty cuisine of Cao Bang in general and Ban Gioc in particular.
2:00 PM – 4:30 PM: Continue to discover the beauty of nature here. You can experience the different ways of life of the various tribal people. Continue your trek through the amazing scenery to the beautiful forest. Take beautiful photos to save memories.
4:30 PM – 5:30 PM: Trek back to your homestay in Khuoi Ki Stone Village. We will take you another way to avoid duplicating your trekking route.
5:30 PM – 6:00 PM: Arrive at our homestay where you can breathe in the fresh air of the mountain area, and your soul will feel peaceful and chill.
6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Take a shower after a busy but fun day. Rest while waiting for your dinner to be served.
7:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Have a delicious meal with our local people, enjoying the specialty cuisine of Cao Bang in general and Ban Gioc in particular.
8:00 PM: Go to bed in a comfy bed and have beautiful dreams! :)
Day 2: Trekking Along Quay Son River – Truc Lam Pagoda – Ban Gioc Waterfall – Hanoi
7:00 AM – 7:45 AM: Enjoy specialty foods such as Cao Bang Rice Paper, Duck Noodle Soup, and Sour Noodle.
7:45 AM – 9:00 AM: Trek along the Quay Son River where you can see mountains reflecting in the water. On the left side is China's border fence and construction.
9:00 AM – 9:45 AM: Visit Truc Lam Zen Monastery in Cao Bang. Climb up to the pagoda and enjoy a panoramic view of Ban Gioc Waterfall with the scenery of mountainous and winding water. On the other side is the Chinese Glass Bridge, while on this side are the peaceful and poetic Vietnamese rice fields.
9:45 AM – 11:00 AM: Visit Ban Gioc Waterfall, where water flows down from above, creating a white cascade into the river next to a fragrant rice field with a cool breeze. Take a boat closer to the waterfall and feel the water droplets splashing on you, giving you goosebumps. In the middle of the river is the border between Vietnam and China – an incredibly happy feeling after traveling nearly 100 kilometers to this place.
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Have lunch at Thac Ban Gioc Restaurant, where we can relax and enjoy the specialty cuisine of Cao Bang in general and Ban Gioc in particular.
12:30 PM – 1:00 PM: Get back to Cao Bang City by a local bus, dropping you off at our office in Cao Bang City.
3:00 PM – 3:30 PM: Be picked up by a limousine from Cao Bang City to Hanoi, arranged by the Vietnam Northern Travel Team.
10:00 PM – 11:00 PM: Get back to your hotel in Hanoi.
